COVID-19 Update
Ocean Pulmonary Associates cares about your health and the health of your families and our employees. We have been monitoring the CDC as well as the WHO and the Ocean County Health Department as well as the New Jersey Department of Health, and the local hospital communications and recommendations regarding COVID-19.
We are and continue to educate all of our employees about handwashing, and proper infection control.
We want you to continue to feel comfortable and safe coming into our office for your pulmonary care.
To that end, if you have a routine follow up appointment and feel uncomfortable leaving your home in an effort to do social distancing, we will reschedule your appointment at your convenience.
If you are feeling ill, and feel the need to be seen, we ask you as always to contact our office for a sick visit. Your message will be given to one of our doctors to assess the safety of your coming to the office to be seen. We may ask you to check in from your vehicle and wait in your vehicle until we contact you via your cell phone to minimize potential exposure to our well patients and to our staff.
If a decision is made that it is safer for you to remain home, we will advise you to do so.
If you are keeping your appointment and coming to our office for a new consultation or a well visit, we want you to feel confident that we are taking all precautions for your continued well being.
Moving forward, Ocean Pulmonary Associates is towards instituting telehealth to facilitate care for our patients to get through this pandemic.
